Testing, Testing 123!

We had a lot of kinks to work out: Sound, Hosting, Recording, Reels & Tiktoks, our Schedule, our Guests, Intro Music, Outro Music! And that's not even the full list!

We began recording a pilot with our friend and coach Hannah Potter. We wanted to start with someone we were comfortable with so that we could work out our many kinks.

←The first problem we faced when recording with a friend is that we were all in the same house together. In the photo attached here, you can see Tyra hiding in the bathroom to get space and make the sound work. 🙃

Once we figured out the location issue and we recorded our first podcast (yay!), we had to learn how to edit. We use Riverside to host our call and bring the video over to Descript to make edits in the audio.

Next, we had to re-listen to our completed podcast. We had group discussions on the things that could improve and we worked diligently on making them better for our next three podcast recordings with Alyssa Shaver, Dominique Hamman and Nora Fallon-Oben. Ps - All of these episodes will be dropped soon!

This entire creative process is a lot to learn but it's been a fun process.
